Dave Chelini has thirty years of professional experience providing all styles of music including big band, rock & roll, country, blues, and ethnic acoustic accordion with or without electronic accompaniment for full orchestra sound. (The MIDI system adds true sounds of saxophone, trumpet, flute, piano, string-section, vibes, bass guitar, drums and much more.) He specializes in music for all events including weddings, celebrations, dinner parties, and dances. His other services including lessons and workshops.
Dave Chelini has played music professionally for more than thirty years. He studied music under Frank Impinna of Frank Dolores Studio in Carmichael, CA and Joe Neronde in Sacramento.
Dave also established a combo/band that played in the Sacramento area for 21 years. He served on the board of directors for the Northern California Accordion Association (1975-1979) and is currently a member of the Northern California Accordion Society and the Golden State Accordion Club.
Dave began teaching at Kline Music in 1966 and later continued from his home. After a long hiatus, Dave returned to the store, and is now offering lessons for all ages with a positive direction toward accordion enjoyment. Dave also offers accordion workshops for groups.
